castaclip (www.castaclip.com) is a Berlin based start-up, engaging in the distribution and billing of professional online video content for web publishers and content providers. For our pending launch, we are looking for talented, motivated and experienced developer personalities (freelance and/or employees), who would have fun building a complex and robust B2B platform in a fast growing and dynamic environment from the ground up. We are looking for a small development team of about 3-4 developers who can take ownership and work in a fast paced and fun environment. We are obsessed with what we do, therefore are looking for like minded individuals.

What you can expect
* From the ground up development of a state-of-the-art B2B video distribution and billing platform as well as interfaces for partner integration
* Integration / customization of third party components (e.g. encoding, digital asset management solutions, etc.)
* Analysis, development, unit-testing, documentation and maintenance of the platform in an agile development and testing environment (SCRUM), in close collaboration with our lead developer
* Ongoing performance optimization and scalability of the castaclip platform and API
* Diligent software documentation and versioning

What we are looking for:

* Min. 3 years professional experience programming Ruby (and/or CSS/HTML/Javascript for frontend development)
* Experience with Rails, Sinatra or any other similar framework
* Experiences with automated testing
* Experience with version control software
* Positive and solutions oriented mind set
* Good communication skills and fluency in both English and German
Following experience/qualification are a plus:
* Experience as Sys Admin on Linux machines
* Experience in Video Streaming Handling
* Experience in design of API´s
